new aluminum dual plane intake for small block Chevy. 1800 high rise design, big power over a wide RPM range. Intake works with 283-400 small blocks up to 1995. Includes special adapter bushings for the middle holes on the '87 to '95 heads. Does not fit the newer Vortec heads.

For use with square bore style carbs. Provides standard bosses and tapped holes for street accessories such as A/C and alternator brackets. No provision for manual choke or exhaust crossover and are not EGR equipped.

Has the open air area under the carb pad to help keep fuel mixture cool and improve power. Ideal for everyday to high performance street applications, will produce power in the lower RPM range and not kill your bottom end like a single plane would. Big savings when you don't need to pay for the name!

These intakes are produced from steel molds to reduce core shift, have all the major features found on the expensive ones such as 4 corner water outlets and nitrous bosses, and the best part - the price!

This is a high performance dual 180 degree street manifold. The Crosswind has identical plenum and runner design to the Typhoon, the biggest difference is it has a raised plenum that allows cool air to circulate underneath which helps lower the temperatures of the intake charge to assist in producing more power. It has the necessary ports to add an oil fill tube but does not have places for exhaust heated or stock style chokes. It can have a late model waterneck, A/C and alternator brackets, and HEI. This manifold was designed to be used with Holley, Carter AFB, or Edelbrock square bore carburetors in the 600 to 700 CFM range with vacuum secondaries or 700 to 800 CFM double pumpers.
